I write to offer my strong support for Seema Govil and Cosmo City Media.  For the past several years I have been watching with great admiration the wonderful, inspiring work that Seema Govil has been doing within the Austin artistic community. She is an undeniable force for good in this city. She is an innovative thinker and a generous community partner with a big, beautiful vision. Their mission to create a diverse Central Texas community of  arts,entertainment and audience members inspired by and engaged with the vibrancy of South Asian culture fills a huge gap in the Austin cultural landscape. I have complete faith not only in the quality of the work but also in the conscientious way they will go about it. As someone who has spent 10+ years working to create meaningful exchange across different art forms, I applaud this effort and can also testify to the numerous benefits (in terms of audience building and artistic development & exchange). Their deep commitment to the local community will be reflected in the creation and maintenance of chronicle of all events Asian In Austin,  that will provide a compiled platform of everything Asian that this great city has to offer and who else better to execute it than Seema Govil. She deserves all the credit in the world for their vision and their innovative approaches in community building. It is very inspiring what they have built and continue to build. They are wonderful partners and we look forward to future collaborations in the years to come. This is exactly the kind of organization the City of Austin should be supporting.  

The Cosmo City Media team has been very dedicated, creative and persistent in what they do. They always look for new opportunities and never give up even after the project is completed. It has always been pleasure working with CCM as they have unique, out of the box ideas for every campaign. Moreover, their passiontowards connecting people and brands together is a great motivator. Cheers CCM!

Her advice and guidance is spontaneous and very valuable to me.  She never holds back a good PR idea.  Her excitement about her work is quite easy to notice.  Seema is a wonderful person and never waits to be asked.  She is very ready and generous with her thoughts and marketing & PR tips and strategies, each one very effective and in the best interest of Apsara.  Each time I work with Seema, I know that everything will be taken care of just in the right way; she has the client’s best interest in mind and never takes the easy way out.  With her sincerity, honesty, and dedication, I know I do not need to be concerned.  I let her do what she does the best, knowing that she would do what I would: the best for Apsara. Going above and beyond in is what Seema brings to an association.  And that is incredible!

Seema Govil has been involved with HC4A since 2010. She has supported and helped propagate its mission of “Bridging Income Disparity through Education!” Seema has covered HC4A fundraising drive for school supplies for homeless children, a family volunteering event – school supplies packing and HC4A Gala fundraiser for scholarships. Through her TV Asia assignment and Cosmos CityMedia, Seema is very well respected and look up to in the So. Asian Austin community. She covers many of the events, placing Austin in the National scene for the So. Asian community. With Cosmos CityMedia, she helps her clients in various areas of marketing so that their cause is effectively advanced. In 2015 HC4A honored Seema Govil at the Aadhaar Gala with the Selfless Service Award! We find Seema to be very intelligent, diligent, and dependable and has great interpersonal skills – these qualities have helped her expand her network. We are very thankful for Seema’s support to HC4A and can say that she has help the charity grow – today over 9,000 homeless children has benefited with school supplies and over 310 economically disadvantaged students have been awarded vocational scholarships! As result of 2017 HC4A Gala, we were able to award 117 scholarships to Manor, Round Rock, Hutto, Florence, Pflugerville ISDs and Austin Community College, Capital Idea, Share the Will and Texas School for Blind and Visually Impaired! Seema conducted on stage fundraising effort!
